STEiNUNN's new collection is always a continuation of the last one; you start where you ended. For 25 years, it has been one continuous collection after another. For colours, she looks for the Icelandic colour sense. The one we see every day in Icelandic nature. Steinunn explores visually what she sees almost every day through photographs. Steinunn's own pictures of the sunset, the sky and her gardens help her visually to pay attention to nature every day. Being able to see a volcanic eruption outside the window and explore the Northern Lights in her living room, with the sea setting the mood for the day, is a metaphor for living in harmony with one's surroundings.
